Explanation:

During the Second World War, Subhash Chandra Bose, an extremist freedom fighter, organised the Indian National Army. It consisted of Indian soldiers and officers who had been made prisoners of war by the Japanese Army. He gave two important slogans ‘Jai Hind’ and ‘Delhi Chalo’. Subhash Chandra Bose declared, ‘Give me blood, I shall give you freedom’. The I.N.A. took a military campaign against the British for the liberation of India. In 1944, the three units of the I.N.A. along with the Japanese troops moved into the Imphal-Kohima region on the Indo-Burma border. Though the I.N.A. was defeated, yet the activities of Subhash Chandra Bose and the I.N.A. served to strengthen the anti-imperialist struggle in India.
