Introduction of article 370

The confusion between Jammu and Kashmir from Valley to Delhi has almost ended today, amidst the continuing heat wave and fortnight in Jammu and Kashmir. The Home Minister of the country Amit Shah introduced a resolution in the Rajya Sabha not to implement all the clauses of Article 370. Article 370 will now only have clause 1.

OK now it's the time that I have to explain what is Article 370 is and why the dispute keeps deepening.

According to this, the Indian Parliament can legislate only in three areas - defense, foreign affairs and communications in the case of Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from this, the central government needs the approval of the state government to enforce any law.
