ASEXUAL REPRODUCTION:-

ASEXUAL REPRODUCTION
✓A reproduction in which only one parent is involved is called asexual reproduction.
✓It is exhibited by organisms like hydra and amoeba.
There three major types of asexual reproduction-

1) Binary Fission- It is reproduction in which two individuals are formed from a single parent.
Example - Amoeba

2) Multiple Fission- It is reproduction in which more then two individuals are formed from a single parent.
Example-Malarial parasite (plasmodium)

3) Budding- It is a reproduction in which one or more bulges are formed in the organisms which are called buds. These buds develop into new individuals and get divided from their parent.

SEXUAL REPRODUCTION-
✓A reproduction in which a new organism is formed because of the fusion of male gamete (from father) and female gamete (from mother) is called sexual reproduction.
✓It is exhibited by humans, dogs, etc.
✓There are two major types of sexual reproduction-

1) Internal Fertilisation- It is kind of reproduction in which fertilisation takes place inside female body.
Example-Humans

2)External Fertilisation- It is kind of reproduction in which fertilisation takes place outside female body.
Example-frogs
