Answer: Subhas chandra bose believed that independence could only be achieved by fighting the british. He formed the Azad Hind Fauj(also knwon as the Indian National Army) which was composed at first of Indian soldiers who had been captured as prisoners of war by japan. Later many volunteers joined the Azad Hind Fauj. With the slogan'Jai Hind'Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs and Christians fought side by side against their common enemy, the British.

Azad Hind Fauj was another name of Bose' Indian National Army which was inspired by the concepts of Netaji who planned to take foreign help to get rid of the country of British reign. The Faujwas revived with the determination and leadership of Netaji and entered in the freedom fight portray in 1943.
