1) Brahmaputra River is one of the major rivers of Asia which flows in China, India and Bangladesh and joins River Ganga by forming Gangetic delta.
2) The river is called as ‘Brahmaputra’ in Sanskrit, ‘Tsangpo’ in Tibetan, ‘Yarlung Zangbo Jiang’ in Chinese and ‘Ya-Lu-Tsang-Pu Chiang’ in central and south Asia.
