Blood vessels are the thin tube like structures that run throughout our body to every single part of our body.  

Its function is to deliver oxygen rich blood from the heart to the cell and from the cell carbon dioxide and other waste products to be removed by the body

     Blood vessels are classifies into 2 parts based on the type of blood they are carrying .The oxygen rich blood is carried by Arteries and carbon dioxide blood is carried by the Veins

the blood vessels are further divided to very small thread like tubes to reach every single living cell these are called capillaries
