Carbon is the constituent particle of our earth itbis found in the largest percentage . Carbon has a atomic no. of 6 has 4 valence electrons in its outermost shell . It has two isotopes C12 & C14 . Carbon has three allotropes :-

1. Graphite :- Although it is a non-metal it is good conductor of electricity due to one free electron.

2. Diamond :- It is the hardest substance found on earth & the most shinest it is bad conductor of electricity

3. C60 atom - It is recently got discovered in 1996 . It has a football like structure
