The civil rights movement was a struggle for social justice that it took place Mainly during the 1950 and 1960 for blacks to gain equal rights under the law in United States the civil was had official abolished slavery, but it didn't end discrimination against black they continued to ensure the devastating effect of racism especially in the south.
