These caves are built in the Arabian sea, 12 km away from Mumbai in Maharashtra. There are 7 caves in all. been carved, out of them the magnificient “Trimurti Temple” (Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh) in cave no. 1 is the best specimen of sculpture.
