-HE FOUND AN EMPTY TREASURY BECAUSE:
* Long years of war had drained the financial resources of France
* Even it also added to the cost of maintaining an extravaganza court at the immense palace of versailles
* American colonies to gain their independence from the common enemy (Britain)
* That war added more than one billion livers to debt
* Lender who gave the money now began to increase the interest to 10% on loans

THERE WERE MANY CAUSES OF REVOLUTION DURING LOUOS 16S RIEGN. ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT WERE ECONOMIC CAUSES :-
A)THE POPULATION OF FRANCE ROSE FROM ABOUT 23 MILLION TO 28 MILLION IN 1789.
B)THIS LED TO A RAPID INCREASE IN DEMAND FOR FOOD GRAINS .
V)PRODUCTION OF GRAIN COULD NOT KEEP PACE WITH WITH THE DEMAND OF FOOD GRAINS .
D)MOST OF THE WORKES WERE  EMPLOYED AS WORKERS AND THERE WAGES WERE SET BY THERE MASTERS
E) OWNERS DID NOT INCREASE WAGES NO MATTER HOW HIGH THE PRICE OF BREAD ROSE.
F)CONDITIONS BECAME WORSE WHEN A DROUGHT OR HAIL OCCURED . THIS LED TO A SUBSISTENCE CRISIS WHICH WAS QUITE FREQUENT IN FRANCE.
THIS WAS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ECONOMIC CAUSE FOR THE FRENCH REVOLUTION..
