The October Revolution was led by the Bolsheivks under Lenin. The Provisional government formed under Kernesky was overthrown and Lenin became the head of the state.
In the February Revolution, the workers, farmers and women united against the monarchial rule. This resulted in the overthrow of monarchy and the establishment of a Provisional governement under the leadership of Kernesky in Russia
