Golgi Apparatus consists of a system of membrane bound vesicles arranged approximately parallel to eachother in sacks called cirsterns. The material synthesized near the ER is packed and dispatched to the various targets sites inside and outside the cell through golgi apparatus. It includes the storage modification and packaging of products. It is also involved in the formation of Lysosomes.
