the great bath was located in ancient city Mohenjo Daro. Its remains are among the most famous ancient structures of the old civilization of the Indus Valley region of Pakistan’s’ Mohenjo-Daro. According to archaeologists, the structure dates back almost 5000 years. It is widely regarded as the earliest public pool or reservoir in the pre-modern world. The Bath is part of the greater citadel complex according to excavations that lead to to its discovery in the 1920s.

the Citadel in Mohenjo-daro had a large rectangular tank called the great bath the tank with six sentences resemble a large swimming pool it had two flights of steps to reach the bottom the tank was supplied with fresh water from an adjacent well it was a probably a public bath used by the people for ritual biting On special occasions of a religious ceremonies.
