horticulture is also know as growing of flowers .. it is the most beautiful and the most profitable activity for peopple living in cold station s and also in hilly areas ansa well as in people leaving down the hilly areas . flower as used for decorations , temples,marriages ect which earn them a lot ..there is a risk only when there is draught of heavy rainfall that can damage the flowers

•India is the second largest producer of fruits and vegetables in the world after China.





Fruits :





•India is a producer of both tropical and temperate fruits.




•Different fruits are produced by different states. They are:





1• Mangoes : Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.





2•Oranges :Nagpur and Cherrapunjee (Meghalaya).





3•Bananas :Kerala, Mizoram, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu.





4•Lichi and Guava : Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar.





5•Grapes : Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra.





6•Apples,Apricots, pears and walnuts : Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
