The hydrologic cycle begins with the evaporation of water from the surface of the ocean. As moist air is lifted, it cools and water vapor condenses to form clouds. Moisture is transported around the globe until it returns to the surface as precipitation. Once the water reaches the ground, one of two processes may occur; 1) some of the water may evaporate back into the atmosphere or 2) the water may penetrate the surface and become groundwater. Groundwater either seeps its way to into the oceans, rivers, and streams, or is released back into the atmosphere through transpiration. The balance of water that remains on the earth's surface isrunoff, which empties into lakes, rivers and streams and is carried back to the oceans, where the cycle begins again.

Explanation:
The water cycle is also called has hydrological cycles. It means the ‘continuous movement’ of the water on “above and below” on the earth surface.
The water can move from “one reservoir to another reservoir” like from ocean to rivers or earth.
The following process are involved the biological cycle:
- Evaporation – Water on the surface can easily be evaporated naturally by suns heat energy.
- Condensation - Water converts into cloud form.
- Precipitation - It is the ordinary term used to describe all the ways which moisture come out of the atmosphere.
- Surface runoff - Water which flows over the area of land.
- Infiltration - Soaking of water into the soil. It is completely depends upon the type of soil.
