Explanation: Bandana Dhar Dasgupta (Bengali: বন্দনা ধর দাসগুপ্তা) (b. 1 July 1937 – d. 4 August 2017) was an Indian poet and teacher from Sonatala, Khowai, Tripura. She was born into a Bengali family in Kalia, Jessore (now Bangladesh). Her parents were Satyendra Sankar Dasgupta and Nibha Dasgupta. She got M.A. in Comparative Literature (Bengali and English) from Jadavpur University. She wrote poems in two different languages, Bengali and English respectively. Her notable literary works are:

4. Ishita (in Bengali), etc.
Her husband Dulal Chandra Dhar (b. 1933 – d. 2018) was an educationist, social activist and author.
