The informalisation of the workforce in India refers to the decrease of workforce from the formal sectors due to competition or maybe because of strictness of the labor laws. There is an increase of the informal sector

- The main reason for Informalisation of workforce in India is because of people living in the rural sectors and due to them being illiterate and not having proper levels of skills. The workers prefer to work on daily wages through physical labor to earn money
