All of its teachings and beliefs are written out in the Quran (also spelled Qur'an or Koran), the holy scripture ofIslam. Believers of Islam are called Muslims. They believe that the Quran was spoken to Muhammad by the angel Gabriel, and that it is the word of Allah. They view Muhammad as a prophet.

The founder of Islam is prophet Muhammad.His father is Abdulla and mother Amina.His father and mother died when he was a small kid his uncle took care of him.He was married to a widow named kadhija and he thought of spreading Islam in mecca but the people in mecca conspired to kill Muhammed so he travelled from Mecca to madina to became aware of this.
