Our country has two groups of islands i.e. Lakshadweep Island and Andaman Nicobar Islands
Lakshadweep Islands group lie close to Malabar cost of kerela . It has area of 32 sq. km. It has a great diversity of Flaoura and fauna.
Andaman and Nicobar Islands are located in the Bay of Bengal . There is a great diversity of flora and fauna in this Islands too. It lies closer to equator and experience equatorial climate and has thick forest cover.
