JUTE:-

Jute is also known as the golden fibre. It grows well in warm and wet climate. It requires well drained,fertile, alluvial soil.However , deltaic soil which is renewed every year by floods is ideal for its cultivation. jute is mostly sown in march and april.Its stems are cut in August and September.
