Kufunda is a learning and empowerment center located in Zimbabwe. It has been in existence for fifteen years and was started by Maaiane Knuth. Having lived abroad and returning to her country, she was surprised by how much the locals did not know what they had. She therefore started Kufunda as a learning center where locals got in touch with their native knowledge to improve themselves, enhance their capacity and grow their leadership skills in society.
They are currently involved in organic farming, renewable energy, health and nutrition based on local wisdom among other personal empowerment and capacity building activities.
