A short note on Ladakh:

• Ladakh is a union territory of the Indian country.

• It is a very cold place filled with mountains.

• Ladakh has a population of 274,289 people. This region has been the reason of conflict between India, Pakistan and China. Pakistan and China want to have control of this region.

• Ladakh has two capitals these are Leh and Kargil.

• In Leh the airport runway is hard to land for pilots because it is surrounded by mountains in all the sides. Some pilots take leave to avoid taking a flight to Leh and the runway is also a bit short. It is a short runway big flights do not land here.

• Ladakh is the highest settlement in India. The camels in the Ladakh region are adapted to the cold weather of the region.

• It is the highest plateau that is there in Kashmir.
