the basic difference between living and non living organism is response to stimuli(external factor) and rest can be similar such as growth etc

Living organisms or living beings are the objects exhibiting or showing growth, development, responsiveness and other characterisitcsof life are named as living being or living organisms.
They show cellular structure, Metabolism, reproduction, consciousness, organisation (such as multi level organisation), Energy requirement is constant, Homeostasis, Variations, adaptations to certain environment change, Healing and repair often noticed (excluding diseases and disorders), Disposing of waste products, Show movements of their parts and some move place to place, definite life span from birth to death also life span of growth, maturity, senescence and death and ULTIMATELY they die or stoppage of various activities due to certain cause happens (increase in entropy)
But absent in amoeba and certain bacteria.
