Metals, semi-precious stones, statues and beads were found. A dockyard was also found which may have been used to ship goods to other civilizations like Mesopotamia

The sea is, today, over 19 km away from Lothal, but at one time, boats from the Gulf of Cambay could have sailed right up to the spot.
