Mahatma Gandhi is called the father of nation. His full name was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. He was born on 2nd October 1869 at porbandar in Gujrat.His father's name was Karamchand Gandhi and his mother's name was Putlibai.His father was a deewan at Rajkot and his mother was a religious woman.
Gandhiji was not a brilliant student in his student life but he was a child with very good qualities like he was very obidient, and respect elders etc.
He passed the bar at law examination and went South Africa for his law practice. But he returned from there in 1915 . And started several movements against Britishers. He had two weapons truth and non Voilence. He got married to Kasturba at a very young age. He was shot dead on 30th january 1948 by Nathuram Godse. His last words were "Hey Ram ".
His mausoleum (graveyard) is at Rajghat in New Delhi....
