The high demand medicinal plants in Jammu region are Harad (Terminalia chebula), Amla(Emblica officianalis), Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), Baheda(Terminalia bellirica), Arjun (Terminalia arjuna), Banafsha(Viola odorata), Gilo (Tinosporia cordifolia), Tulsi( Ocimum sanctum), Saffron(Crocus sativus) etc.
