Short note on minerals found in or around water bodies :

We read about resources like land, soil, water and forest. In this lesson we will study about two important resources. 'These resources are minerals and energy. Just like water and land are very important treasures on the earth, there are equally important mineral resources'. Without mineral resources, we cannot give speed, strategy and direction to the industrial activities of our country.

Therefore, the country’s economic development can also be blocked. 'Mineral wealth remains a major source of national income in many countries of the world'. The economic, social progress of a country depends on its ability to use its natural resources appropriately. The most important feature of minerals is that once they are used, they are almost exhausted. It is related to our present and future welfare. Since minerals are degradable resources that cannot be renewed again, their need for conservation is very high.
