Myopia, also called near-sightedness or short-sightedness, is a problem with the focusing ability of the eye. It is when the eye is not able to focus properly on objects in the distance.

1. Myopia is also called short shightdness.

2. Myopia is the defect of eye vision due to which a person see the distant objects clearly.

3. But cannot see the nearby objects clearly.

This defect is caused due to :–

1. Due to eye ball being to long.

2. Due to the high converging of power lens.

3. The defect of myopia is corrected by using spectacles containing concave lenses.
