oil spill is a major problem to all the ships which carry oil .usually a minor leakage in a oil carrier may lead to oil spill and as oil is not souble in water it remain floating in water.this may harm the marine life.recently scientists have discovered a bacterium which can digest oil .this was used in a mexicon oil spill and it was successfull in the work .hope it helps pls thank if you like pls it feels good
