The biodiversity found here is really unique because it is similar to upper Himalayan peaks and to those lower western ghats. it contains other protected areas in it. in fact, it has two wildlife sanctuaries i.e. bori sanctuary and pachmarhi sanctuary and one national park i.e. Satpura national park. there is also a reservoir called Tawa reservoir in the bio sphere reserve and also it has some tribal settlements.
