The Indian Parliament houses the two legislative assemblies namely Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. It houses one of the main organ of the state which is called legislative. It work is mainly to make laws, keep a check on the executive and the judiciary and present the annual budget of a financial year. In India, the speaker presides over the lok sabha wheras the vice president presides over the rajya sabha.
