Going for a picnic is my favorite recreational activity. Every year my school organizes a picnic for the students. The picnic spot is usually located a bit far from the school, and we go there on the school bus.

We bring packets of snacks and sweets from home to enjoy during the picnic. We also have to pack a small towel with us.

The journey to the picnic spot is fascinating and fun. We sing songs on the bus and play other games. Teachers travel with us to make sure that nobody misbehaves.

Once we reach the picnic spot, we look for a good place to sit down and eat breakfast

After breakfast, we start playing games such as badminton, cricket, etc.

In the daytime after having lunch, the teacher asks us all to sit forming a circle and we all dance and sing together.

In the evening we get back into the bus for the journey back to school. Even though tired, we all have a lot of fun on the way back too.
