Answer:

Plains are just large areas of land that are mostly flat.plains are very common; they're found on every continent and cover more than one-third of the land on Earth! first plains on Earth were created by lava from volcanoes! The lava pushed up though the surface of the Earth and made some areas flat.

Other plains have been formed by erosion, which occurs when air, ice, or water wears away at land and little bits of the land are washed away. Erosion can turn hilly land into flat land.

there are many types of plains :

a) grasslands

b) coastal plains

c)flood plains

Plains occur as lowlands along the bottoms of valleys or on the doorsteps of mountains, as coastal plains, and as plateaus or uplands. In a valley, a plain is enclosed on two sides, but in other cases a plain may be delineated by a complete or partial ring of hills, by mountains, or by cliffs.
