Answer:

Z-plasty is a versatile plastic surgery technique that is used to improve the functional and cosmetic appearance of scars. It can elongate a contracted scar or rotate the scar tension line

Endoplasm generally refers to the inner (often granulated), dense part of a cell's cytoplasm. This is opposed to the ectoplasm which is the outer (non-granulated) layer of the cytoplasm, which is typically watery and immediately adjacent to the plasma membrane.

Answer:

PLASTIDS :

  • Found in Plant Cell.
  • Largest organelle in plant cell.
  • On the basis of pigments, they are of 3 types -
  1. Leucoplast : Colourless. They store material such as starch, oil, protein and granules.
  2. Chromoplast : Colourful. They import colors thi flowers and fruits. They help in pollination and fruit dispersal.
  3. Chloroplast : Green in colour. Bounced by two membranes. It traps solar energy to manufacture through photosynthesis.

ENDOPLASMIC RETICULUM :

  • It is a large network of membrane bound tubes and sheets extending from outer nuclear membrane to plasma membrane.
  • Depending upon presence and absence of ribosomes on its surface, it is of two types -
  1. Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum : Ribosomes are attached on its surface for protein synthesis.
  2. Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum : Without ribosomes and secrets lipids.
