\huge\bf{Answer :}

Pressure Cooker :

  • It is based on the principle of pressures of steam which is used during the cooking of food.
  • When we're cooking the food, heat and steam are produced in the vessel in which food is being cooked.
  • If the food is being cooked in an ordinary vessel, then the maximum heat and steam is removed from the vessel and food will take more time to cook.
  • On the other hand, If the food is being cooked in a pressure cooker, the steam which is produced during the cooking gets stored inside the pressure cooker because of a tight fitted lid, attached in the cooker.
  • This system would produce more heat and increase the amount of water vapour inside the cooker.
  • This steam and heat trapped in the cooker helps in cooking food in an efficient and faster rate.
  • This vessel is not only eco-friendly but also saves the fuel and time.

\huge\bf{Extra\: Information :}

  • The amount of force ( or thrust ) which is acting per unit area on a particular surface is known as Pressure. It's SI unit is Newton/Metre² ( N/m² )
  • The SI unit of pressure is considered as Pascal ( Pa ), named after Blaise Pascal.
