Ramayana is epic which was converted into Hindi by guru valmiki. there were four brothers and a sister named shanta, but shanta later became a sage. when there was a demon troubling everyone guru shist took ram and lakshman and gave them divine powers. then they finished of the demon. then it was a competition that wheresoever lifted the tir kaman will marry sita.the invitation was sent to everyone, then now guru shist took them there. and when ravan also could not lift it up then every king started complaining, and then only ram lifted it up and sita was married to ram. after that bharats mother was not happy with ram so bharat became king and ram had to  go for an exile. then in the jungle lakshman cutted the nose of surpnakha. then surpnakha went to her brother ravan and when sita wished for that dear ram and lakshman both went and from there ravan took sita away. then hanuman went there but sita said that she wants to go with ram only then there was a huge battle, and finnaly ram won but lakshman died so then hanuman went for jaributhi but he came with the hole mountain in just one hand. then the sage applied the jaributhi and then lakshman was to live again. then they went to ayodhya back and everyone was happy. ram became the king and mother kaykayi was also happy. then all lived happily. like the mahabharata it is real too.here are pictures so that you can understand it better.

Ramayana is one of the biggest epic in the India with mahabaratha. this is the epic that has all moral values and human values. this shows the correct way to go for humans. Valmiki, one of the greatest poets wrote the Ramayana. Ramayana is the first epic all over the world. Ramayana also called as Paulasthyavadha, Seethayascharitham and mahath. our creator Brahma suggested valmiki to write Ramayana in Sanskrit.Ramayana consists of 24000 slokas.
the father of rama, dasharatha once sent rama to a swayamvara, where the father of sita, janaka helded it. in that there is a very big and strong bow. that should be lifted up and broken. many kings and emperors had came there to win in that and marry sita. for that contest ravana also attended. many people had tried and failed in that. ravana also hadn't did that. Then rama came there and lifted up the bow and broken it. then rama and sits got married. rama has 3 brothers, baratha, lakshmana, and shatraghana. ravana felt so angry that he couldn't marry sita. so, once ravana came to sita and kidnapped her. after many days rama could find the sitas presence and crossed seven oceans and went to ravana and killed ravana with the help of hanuman, vali and several peoples. then rama brought sita from Lanka, Lanka is the place of ravana.
