Explanation:

When light rays fall on rough surfaces, the reflected rays will travel in different directions. This type of reflection is known as irregular or diffused reflection. We see objects due to the irregular reflection of light fall on them. If the reflected rays are parallel, then the reflection is known as regular or specular reflection.

The diffused reflection does not obey the laws of reflection.

(i) Reflection of sound is used to measure the distance and speed of underwater objects. This method is known as SONAR.

(ii) Working of a stethoscope is also based on reflection of sound. In a stethoscope, the sound of the patient’s heartbeat reaches the doctor’s ear by multiple reflection of sound.

I hope it's can you plz add me in brainlist :)

Answer:

Reflection is the change in direction of a wavefront at an interface between two different media so that the wavefront returns into the medium from which it originated. Common examples include the reflection of light, sound and water waves. The law of reflection says that for specular reflection the angle at which the wave is incident on the surface equals the angle at which it is reflected. Mirrors exhibit specular reflection.
