The Rashrakutas raised to power in the 8th century under the leadership of the ruler Dantidurga. Dantidurga and his heir Krishna I incorporated the command in the area of present-day Maharashtra

Bhillama established the kingdom in the 12th century. The Yadavs concentrated in the area within Godavari and Narmada streams.

Chalukyas of Kalyani:

The Chalukyas of Kalyani was also recognized as later Chalukyas or the far-western Chalukyas. The prominent ruler of the Chalukyas  was Vikramanka

Kabatiyas of Warangal (ruled in the 12th and 13th century):
