While no human rights instrument or national constitution grants the absolute right to protest, such a right to protest may be a manifestation of the right to freedom of assembly, the right to freedom of association, and the right to freedom of speech

Right to protest is one of the fundamental right given to citizens of a country without which people would not be able to raise their voice if the feel that they are been exploited by the government or any political body or a group of people. This right is taken away in dictatorship.
