Most of the area of peninsula is Drained by all the river flowing towards the bay of bengal ..

The names of the Rivers which is flowing and meeting are:-

Mahanadi basin, Godavari, river Krishna and Kaveri...

They originate from the eastern slopes of the western ghats...!!
