Rowlatt it was an act that was quickly passed by the British Imperial government. Under this act, the cops and various other bodies were given enormous power to arrest anyone and put in jail without any orders and trial's from court. This act created a resentment in the minds of people. Several leaders were arrested with the help of this act.
