the Russian revolution tooke place in 1917,during the final phase of world war 1.
IT removed Russia from the war and brought about the transformation of Russian empire into a union of sovent socialist republics ,
replacing Russia's traditional monarchy with the world's first communist state .
the revolution happened stages through two separate coups one in February and one in October .the new government led by Viladimir lenin, would solidify its power only after 3 years of civil war and ended in 1920.

although the revolution happened abruptly the causes may be traced back nearly a century .
the Russian monarchy has became weak of it own vulnerability .Nicholas 2 had personality witnessed revolutionary terrorist assassinated switch his grandfather and subsequently his own father respond to the assisnation through brutal oppression of the Russian people .

----------RUSSIAN REVOLUTION -----

Russia was a vast nation in the world with third largest population. As, it was spreaded in two continents Eurasia. To rule this empire it was very difficult task.

During first world war Tsar Nicholas was the ruler of Russian empire. In this period there was a strong decline in Russian economy as it provided food , arms etc. in the war. This resulted in the decline in Russian economy. 

Many people were struggled for food and bread. As, it was 8th March , 1917. A woman named Marfa Vasileva stopped her work in factory and demanded for Bread. That was the start of Russian revolution which was wide spreaded in Russia. This revolution led for the forming of soviets and Bilsheviks. After This Bilsheviks started ruling Russia. Bolsheviks faced many civil wars supported by the western nation. They faced a civil war in 1917 it was ended in 1920 as Bolsheviks were victorious.
