Soil is the top most layer of the earth's surface in which plants & tress grow.It takes millions of years to form soil up to a few centimetres depth.There are various types of soil found in India like as Alluvial soil, Black soil, Red soil, yellow soil, laterite soil, Arid soil, mountain soil, & forest soil.
