 stomata is a tiny opening or pore that is used for gas exchange. They are mostly found on the under-surface of plant leaves. It is surrounded by guard cells which are responsible for the opening an closing of the stomata. The gas exchange that occurs when the stomata is open helps in photosynthesis.
