Buddha's teachings are also known as " dharma".

he taught that patience , kindness, compassion, and generosity were important virtues.the teachings of Buddha are aimed solely at liberating sentient beings from suffering.

the basic teachings of Buddha which are core to Buddhism are: the three universal truth, the four noble truths and the noble eightfold path.

the belief that their is an afterlife and not everything ends with dead , that Buddha taught and followed a successful path to nirvana.

After attaining nirvana, Lord Buddha started teaching the way of life to people. Near the city of Benares, he shared his first teachings to five holy men and they immediately understood his teachings and agreed to follow Lord Buddha. For forty-five years, Buddha along with his disciples started spreading Buddha’s wisdom and teachings in India. The teachings of Lord Buddha are also known as Dhamma.
