Deccan Plateau;-

The Deccan plateau is a part of the larger peninsular plateau and extends from the south of river Narmada in a triangular shape. The Satpura range marks its northern boundary while on the east it is bounded by Mahadev, Kaimur and Maikal hills. The eastern and western edges of Deccan Plateau are marked by Eastern and Western Ghats respectively.
