(a) Plastics in cookware are used for packaging purposes so that the food doesnt get rot and is delivered in an efficient manner as transportation.

(b) Plastics in healthcare industries are used in numourous things. They are used to produce syringe, containers for having blood etc. They are also used to store medicines as plastics are durable products.

However though it has many uses, plastics have many disadvantages too. When they are thrown as waste, they pollute the environment causing serious threats to ecosystems.

Teflon: Teflon is non-stick plastic used as non-stick coating in cookwares. Because of its toughness it is also used as tape for sealing purposed.
