Write a short note on the Iqta system.

The nobles occupied civilian and military position in the sultanate. They assisted the Sultan in discharge of his responsibilities as the rulers of the empires. In the term of rank, Khan occupied the top position followed by the Malik and the Amirs. The noble got this early from the revenue assigned to them. As per the iqta system, the language sources of the sultanate were divided among the nobles in lieu of cash for their services. Iqtadars collect taxes from the farmers and use them to maintain the army.
