  • From north-south the plain is divided into Bhabar , Tarai , Bangar and Khadar.
  • The irrosional and depositional made by the rivers are Neanders , Oxbow lake , Draided channals and Riverine Island.
  • Ganga ang Brahmaputra rivers made the world's largest delta.
  • The extent of the alluvial plain is around 3,200km from east-west.
