Explanation:

despite all the difficulties, there was one big advantage for the makers of Indian constitutions.they did not have to take a consensus on how the Democratic India should look like. much of this consensus were taken during the freedom struggle of India.

the Constitution was prepared by motilalnehru and the eight other Congress leaders on 1928.in 1931 the resolution at karthi session of Indian national Congress dwelt on how an independent India should look like.both the documents committed to inclusion of universal adult franchise, right to freedom and equality and to protect the rights of minorities.thus some basic laws were accepted by all the leaders before the Constitution assembly met.

the British rule did not give rights to vote for all.on that basis British introduced a poor legislature.

elections were held on 1937, for provincial legislative and ministers all over the British India.though it was not fully democratic it gave the Indians an idea of how useful it was.

years of thinking and deliberation on framework of our Constitution. our leader gained confidence by looking at other countries but in our own terms.many of the leaders were inspired from the French Revolution, and the democracy in the Britain and the bill rights of US. the socialist revolution in russia had made our leaders to think of shaping a system based on social and economic equality.

yet they were not simply imitating others they questioned whether these things suited our country.

all these factors contributed to our Constitution.
